Groot Constantia’s Annual General Meeting took place on Wednesday 23rd November.
The Meeting ended on a happy note when a number of employees were honoured with long service awards.
Mery Uribe – P.R.O – 25 years
Mery began her career at Groot Constantia as a Part-time Tour-Guide, she is passionate about Groot Constantia, and has met some wonderful people, from all walks of life. One of her highlights was meeting up with two princesses from the Netherlands, who she took on a historical tour. The Princesses Irene and Margriet were brought to the Estate by Mrs Rupert.
Beverley Louw – Cashier Wine-Sales – 15 years
Beverley has spent most of her life at Groot Constantia, both her father Michael and mom Christine worked on the Estate.
Boela Gerber – Winemaker – 10 Years
Amoré Müller – Accountant – 10 years
Shane Jacobs – Vineyard worker – 15 years
Jurie Pieterse – Vineyard worker and tractor driver – 15 years
Myrtle Edwards – 30 years
Teaching at Groot Constantia. She works for The Centre of Conservation and Education on the Estate.
