To make it super easy for customers to get their hands on Groot Constantia’s award-winning wines, you can either purchase through the website or pre-order by emailing the sales team on sales@grootconstantia.co.za. Alternatively, wine can be purchased – and tasted - at Groot Constantia.
With lockdown many South Africans have become familiar with “lockdown birthdays” – paired down celebrations enjoyed quietly in your own space with only the closest family present to toast the occasion. This is exactly how Groot Constantia celebrated its 335th birthday – the official date of which fell on 13 July – the date that the original title deed to the Estate was signed in 1685.
335 years is a long time to make friends and build connections and Groot Constantia is extremely blessed to enjoy a large circle of supporters who recently sent us their birthday wishes in this awesome video that left us all with a big smile on our faces, and a lump in our throats.
Kindly be advised that all picnic baskets must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance from either Jonkershuis or Simons Restaurant. Additionally, guests are not permitted to bring their own picnic baskets or food onto the estate.
